Cookie policy

A short, plain-language explanation of how we use cookies on the SleepStream website.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a tiny text file your browser stores when you visit a website. It lets the site remember things between page visits โ€” like what's in your cart, whether you're signed in, or how you got to the site. Most cookies expire on their own; some you can clear manually in your browser settings.

What we use cookies for

SleepStream uses cookies for four reasons:

1. Strictly necessary

Keeping your cart contents, processing checkout, keeping you signed in. The site won't work properly without these.

2. Performance & analytics

Anonymous data about how visitors use the site (which pages they read, where they came from, which products they click). We use this to improve the store. We use Shopify's built-in analytics and, optionally, Google Analytics.

3. Functionality

Remembering preferences like your country and currency.

4. Marketing

If you've opted in, marketing cookies let us show you SleepStream ads on other websites (like Meta and Google) and measure whether they brought you back to us.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies on our site are set by third parties we use โ€” for example Shopify (our store platform), Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google (Analytics & Ads), and our email provider. These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we recommend you read if you want to dig deeper.

How to disable cookies

You can disable or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings:

Note: turning off all cookies will prevent checkout from working.
